6 Ways to Cook Corned Beef

I love corned beef and so does my family.  When St. Patricks Day comes around we look forward to our big Irish meal and all the left overs for days to come.  What is kind of funny though, we love it so much but I only cook it once a year.  Have no idea why but we just do it that way.  Makes it even more tasty and that more exciting I guess to have us wait 364 days a year for it.

How do you cook yours?  Every one I ask seem to cook theirs different.  I try to change it up every couple of years and try a different method.   It seems to be hard to mess up corned beef though.  🙂

Here are some delicious options for you to try this year!

  1. use leftover corned beef to make hash for breakfast….cubed corned beef, diced (very small -1/4″?) potatoes and diced onion….a little water to help the potatoes cook more quickly…fry it up…add lots of black pepper and serve with eggs…..YUM
    or….Reubens….yeah….Reubens are good!

  2. Thanks for sharing all of these different recipes! It is nice to get a variety of ways to cook it, especially when it is a less popular type of meat. I’ll definitely try a few of these out. The Paula Deen recipe sounds amazing!
