When Do Little Girls Grow Out Of The Princess Stage?

My daughter is obsessed with Princesses.  She popped out of me and was automatically a Princess.  Everything to do with Princesses was all about her and still is.  Every Halloween that is all she wants to be.  She is 7 now and she thinks that she is going to marry a Prince.   😉   There are even times when I ask her to clean something and she says “I am a Princess… Princess don’t clean!”.  HA!  Let me tell you… I have some words for her.  lol

It is great and special that she still feels this way.  Didn’t help going to Disneyland this last May and her seeing all the Princesses there.  Oh man was she in heaven!

So normally for first day of school I will put what grade they are going into and what they want to be when they grow up but I just gave up this year and called her a Princess.  Hope I don’t get slack from that but I still think its cute and she is still a little girl.  Someday she will grow up and not want to be that and that will be sad.  She will go through her teenage years (yikes) and I will remember back to these precious years.  So I cherish these moments of her adolescents.
