AT&T’s New “FAMIGO”: A Way To Protect Your Kids!

If you’re like most parents out there, your young kids are entertaining themselves with your smartphone or tablet, even before they’re old enough to have their own.

At AT&T, we’re parents, too. Family matters to us, and that’s why we strive to offer tools and services that help you keep your family connected and protected, at all ages.

One of the latest tools we’ve made available is Famigo,* an app that “child-proofs” your Android or iOS smartphone or tablet so you can rest easy.  Before your child uses your device, open the Famigo app, and it turns your device into a virtual playground, giving your child access to a variety of kid-friendly games, apps and other fun content, while preventing access to other apps or age-inappropriate content on your device. Features include:

  • Password protection, which blocks access to the Web, texting, calling, purchases, social media and age-inappropriate apps
  • A wish list for kids to request apps and games on Android
  • Options for parents to use their PC or mobile device to monitor their child’s activities
  • Recommendations from Famigo on popular, top-rated apps

AT&T wireless customers can now download Famigo from the app store on their Android or iOS device for free (data charges apply to download and app usage).  And the perks get even better: AT&T wireless customers are also the first to be able to subscribe to additional Famigo content. You can check it out with a free 7-day trial , and the subscription is $7.99 a month after that. You’ll get access to apps and thousands of hours of video of popular children’s TV shows, including:

  • Animal Atlas
  • Busytown Mysteriesimg3
  • Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That
  • Chloe’s Closet
  • Dino Dan
  • Dive Olly Dive!
  • Mighty Machines
  • Noonbury and the Super 7
  • Pocoyo
  • Jim Henson’s Pajanimals
  • Raggs
  • Sid the Science Kid
  • The Wiggles

Coming soon to Famigo on Android and iOS are e-books for kids, a kid-safe web browser and curated YouTube videos.

Whatever your family’s needs, we’ve got you covered. AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless helps parents control call and text usage and more, which is great for tweens and teens learning to use their devices responsibly. And AT&T FamilyMap® helps you keep up with your loved ones’ locations, including new teen drivers. For more information on AT&T’s many family services, visit

*Famigo is a mobile application provided by Famigo, Inc.
