I recently attended The Lion King Musical. Oh, man was that amazing! My 7 year old daughter was on the edge of her seat the whole time. I would look over at her and see her smiling or singing to the songs. She clapped so hard at end of each dance or song. The Lion King was one of those musicals that you can go back to see many many times and never be bored with it. Music, laughter, singing, dancing and beautiful costumes. The costumes were out of this world! I can’t even describe the amount of time that must of went in to creating just one of the costumes.
They really do get the audience involved too. Trying to make you laugh and sometimes cry. I was so impressed with the singing. You know when you hear someone sing and it give you goosebumps. That is what it did to me. It was amazing.

I can’t even imagine how long it takes for them to put on their makeup and wardrobe. The amount of practice involved. But not only that the traveling to different cities, states and countries. Truly amazing. You can really feel the passion for what they do and it shows.
We were at the Paramount in Seattle and the building on the outside was nothing to great but the inside is beautiful. I did purchase a water bottle and some M&M’s for my daughter cause with kids you just never know on how well they will sit for that long of a time. They do a intermission which is great. Ladies bathroom line was long so if you need to go to the bathroom hurry up but we still made it back there in time. You can also pre-order your wine or beverage of choice before the show starts so it is waiting for you by your door. Made it nice. You can grab that then go wait in the bathroom line. 🙂 They also have nice cushion lift seats for the kids. So they can see over the people in front of them. They say ages 8 and above for kids and I can understand that just for the fact of the length of the show. Plus, cast of the show is using the aisles during the show. Makes it fun to see them right next to you as they are in costume and heading to stage.
Ticket prices are up there but that is what to expect for worlds #1 musical. Worth every penny!! When my daughter turned to me and said “mom, this was the best day ever”. I knew that she loved it.
